This is a letter of recommendation for Henk-Jan Engelhardt, who served as an interim manager contributing to Teijin Aramid’s business transformation program from February 2022 to December 2023. Throughout this period, I held the position of Global Process Business Owner for Logistics, with Henk-Jan reporting directly to me.
Teijin Aramid is a global leader in aramid production, 18 locations worldwide, 1.750 FTE.
Henk-Jan first led the development and launch of a collaborative platform, enhancing purchasing, logistics and quality data exchange with Teijin’s external production partners. As a result, the portal is now operational in multiple countries, fostering improved collaboration.
Secondly, Henk-Jan assisted with the migration to SAP S/4 HANA and introducing Transport Management, scanning, and self-billing at our main own production facility. Additionally, carriers end warehouses are connected to S/4 HANA via interfaces. As a result our main site works according our global, standard end to end processes and agile system landscape.
Change management played a pivotal role in the successful execution of the assignment.
I confidently recommend Henk-Jan for future interim roles.

This is a letter of recommendation for Henk-Jan Engelhardt who has been general manager of Keesing Reference Systems B.V. from 3 November 2005 until 1 February 2010. In this capacity Mr. Engelhardt reported to me as Keesing Reference Systems B.V. was, till this date, a 100% subsidiary of Keesing Media Group B.V. From 1 February 2003 until 31 December 2003 we employed Mr. Engelhardt as interim Manager Marketing & Sales.
Henk-Jan has skillfully transferred Keesing Reference Systems from a company with mainly printed products to a company which now offers mainly digital publishing products as well as general services. The company has now a very clear focus on the online control of identity documents.
In this process hè has  ensured that the underlying product process as well as the organization has been transferred to an efficiently run organization. Keesing Reference Systems today is a very profitable organization. This was also the reason that we were able to sell the company to the new owner Hologram Industries. Mr. Engelhardt was instrumental in making the sale successful. Unfortunately, Mr. Engelhardt decided that this was the time to look for a new challenge in his career. We are convinced that he will be very successful in the future.
